This Letter Is for the Ones Still Building in Silence
In Juz 12, the prophets were mocked, ignored, and rejected—and they kept going. So will we.
(I think this is my best letter so far)
This Ramadan’s been different.
I’ve shown up daily—writing, reflecting, posting.
But engagement’s dropped. Views are down. Barely any comments.
I wondered if it was worth it.
It’s easy to feel discouraged when you pour your heart into something, and the response is silence.
But then I read Juz 12. And I saw something I’d forgotten:
And all that We relate to you of the stories of the messengers is to make your heart firm. And there has come to you, in this, the truth and an instruction and a reminder for the believers.
Every prophet was met with rejection. Every one of them kept going.
Nuh preached for 100's of years for a handful of followers.
Shu'aib was called possessed by evil for calling to fair trade.
Salih was (jokingly) challenged to bring a 10-month pregnant she-camel from a rock. Allah allowed him to but he was still denied.
None of them were driven by applause. They were driven by the truth.
They kept going, even when no one listened.
The Wakeup Call: Why are you doing this?
I only desire reform to the best of my ability. My success is only through Allah.
If you're in this for views, likes and sales only, you won't last.
Most of the accounts getting crazy engagement are 'entertainers'.
They're appealing to the lowest common denominator.
No harm in this, of course; there's enough food for everyone.
But you didn't start writing to entertain.
You started because you wanted to save your younger self.
From poverty. Mediocrity. Hypocrisy. Weakness.
To take your people to a better place.
To become righteous, refined and rich.
Thank you. All of you.
(Nuh): O my people! I ask you not for it any wealth. My reward is not but from Allah. And I am not one to drive away those who have believed. Indeed, they will meet their Lord…
So to those who are still here—Reading. Reflecting. Messaging.
I appreciate you. You remind me this isn’t about reach. It’s about growing together.
I’m not Nuh (AS), but I understand why he stood by his small group.
From Today - No Excuses
And be patient—for Allah does not let the reward of the good-doers go to waste.”
If you’re building, writing, selling — Do it for Allah, not for likes.
These are all minimums:
Post 3x/day. 0 views. 10,000 views. It doesn't matter.
3 Superthreads/week. Educate and inspire, let others entertain.
Engage 30mins/day. Get your face everywhere.
One DM/day. We want friends, not followers.
I’ve been writing daily for nearly 3 months. The foundation’s built. Now it’s time to monetize, insha’Allah—with purpose.
Juz 12 is a reminder to keep going. No wealth, fame or luxury can compare when you have a mission to please Allah and do good for people.
Challenge: DM one of your followers and thank them for their support everyday.
18 to go :)
