- Allah doesn’t need you. If you hesitate, he'll replace you.
Allah doesn’t need you. If you hesitate, he'll replace you.
Paradise or Popularity? Choose.
As a teenager, most of my friends weren't Muslim.
I remember delaying Asr until right before sunset when playing football…
And being silent when "Islamic memes" were put in the group chat.
I wanted to fit in, even if it meant betraying my gut instincts.
Until I read of the struggles of the early Muslims…
O believers! Whoever among you abandons their faith, Allah will replace them with others who love Him and are loved by Him. They will be humble with the believers but firm towards the disbelievers, struggling in the Way of Allah; fearing no blame from anyone. This is the favour of Allah. He grants it to whoever He wills. And Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.
Reading this Juz made me feel like Allah looked at me in disgust:
"You're not worthy".
I had been a fence-sitter. A coward.
I thought of the Sahabah who were beaten, exiled, and tortured for their faith—while I couldn’t even risk a side-eye from my friends.
Never again.
This verse obliterates people-pleasing.
Real men don’t water down their faith to fit in.
Fear of Allah > Fear of the people.
Either commit to Islam in full or not at all.
I'm committing to:
Infusing the Quran and Sunnah into my brand and all of my content. I have no honour without Islam.
Only keeping Muslims in my inner circle. No room for those who take me away from my Rabb.
Juz 6 is a reminder: those before us sold their religion for status and comfort—will you do the same
Those friends of yours hate Allah and His religion, will you choose them over Allah?
Choose one - Paradise or popularity.
Until the next one,
Hamza.
